Some books it's quite tight margins due to two way market but some books almost view it as some sort of "special" so you get really big margins. Nothing wrong with Draw no bet as such in the right circumstances. It's worth checking AH market for DNB ball as well as sometimes they will have slightly tighter margins.

Some people use it to reduce the volatility in the results of their betting acounts. Pretty much the same logic behind using AH markets

DNB for if you are 80%+ confident the team will win and double chance if you are 60% confident the team will win.. that's my logic anyway

Edit: Downvoted with no comments, can anyone explain why? With 10 years of working experience in the industry I'd like to know why people think this is bad

Just upvoted you because what you said makes sense.

This is bad because you made no mention of the price, which is just as relevant as the chance of the team winning. Didn't downvote tho.

What if you are 10% confident that a team will win?

I'm asking because your logic doesn't work for me. Most people will want to reduce variance, so when they are less confident in a team, they should increase use of DNB and DC on the higher end of the odds.

I feel fucking terrible when I lose my draw no bet plays. So humiliating.

level 1

Ya, if you're betting on 1x2, it's a safer way.

level 2

Less variance does not equal better

Is it a good market?

I don't really get the question? Betting overall is a major EV- market for anyone who places a bet. It doesn't matter what you are betting at, 1x2, DNB or the number of goals. All of them are bad for you long term.

The question you are asking is like "Is McDonalds better than pizza?". The answer to the question is "Don't eat any of it, eat something else" but if you still want to eat one of them it won't kill you. But none of them are "good" for you.

If you think you need the DnB option perhaps thats a hint that you should bet draw instead.

Also if you bet on homewin and away win and need a insurance that cost you money you cut off some of the edge.

I did Dnb before but I analyzed it and concluded that I lost money taking the insurance on the draw so I scrapped it and I end up doing 1x2.
